Hoy finalizaron los Campeonatos Mundiales Juvenil y Masculino ILCA 6 2024, organizados por el Yacht Club Argentino y la International Laser Class Association, llevados a cabo en la Ciudad de Mar del Plata, Argentina.
En el sexto y último día del campeonato, se corrieron las últimas regatas con un viento del sur de alrededor de 8 a 12 nudos.
Antonio Pascali de Italia se coronó campeón en la categoría juvenil masculina en la Clase ILCA 6 2024, manteniendo el liderazgo a lo largo de todo el campeonato. Rem Pulci Magen de Israel quedó en segundo lugar y el estadounidense Jake Homberger ocupó la tercera posición.
En la categoría femenina, la italiana Maria Vittoria Arseni se consagró campeona. La irlandesa Sienna Wright quedó en la segunda posición y, además, fue coronada Campeona Mundial U17. La tercera posición fue para la italiana Ginevra Caracciolo.
En la categoría Open, el representante argentino Francisco Renna se coronó campeón, manteniendo la posición de liderazgo durante toda la semana. Ganó la última regata del campeonato, alejándose cómodamente de su escolta en la segunda posición, el también argentino Juan Pablo Bisio. Completa el podio el brasileño Antonio Cavalcanti Rosa.
El brasileño Gustavo Canovas Kiessling se consagró Campeón Mundial de ILCA 6 U17.

Day #6 | Conclusion of the ILCA 6 2024 Youth and Men’s World Championships
Today marked the conclusion of the ILCA 6 2024 Youth and Men’s World Championships, organized by the Yacht Club Argentino and the International Laser Class Association, held in the city of Mar del Plata, Argentina.
On the sixth and final day of the championship, the last races were held with south wind of approximately 8 to 12 knots.
Antonio Pascali from Italy was crowned champion in the youth men’s category in the ILCA 6 2024 Class, maintaining leadership throughout the entire championship. Rem Pulci Magen from Israel secured the second-place position, and the American Jake Homberger claimed the third position.
In the women’s category, Italian Maria Vittoria Arseni became the champion. Irish Sienna Wright secured the second position and was also crowned U17 World Champion. The third position went to Italian Ginevra Caracciolo.
In the Open category, Argentine representative Francisco Renna became the champion, maintaining the leading position throughout the week. He won the final race of the championship, comfortably distancing himself from his closest competitor in the second position, fellow Argentine Juan Pablo Bisio. The podium was completed by Brazilian Antonio Cavalcanti Rosa.
Brazilian Gustavo Canovas Kiessling was crowned U17 World Champion in the ILCA 6 category.
